Gwernyfed RFC’s Team Manager Lee ‘Titch’ Thomas tells us just a little bit more about himself...
OUR TEAM MANAGER
KEEPING THE WHEELS ROLLING!
IN THE FAMLY
Every season is a pleasure being in the GRFC family , but this season has been especially pleasing for us with our two sons playing together for the first time for GRFC Youth.
Gethin, the Captain and talisman and this season’s Players Player of the Year at Number 8 and Rhodri, this seasons Player of the Year, stepping in at Outside Half when both first choice kickers moved on to pastures new.
It’s a very special feeling watching them running on to the pitch, attacking moves and supporting each other on and off the field, not only for Gwernyfed but also when representing the Heart of Wales U19 District team together. Gethin will progress to senior rugby next season , while Rhodri remains in the youth team for another two years, but for now their boots are hung up for a well deserved rest!!
Green and Proud!
