through the winter months.
The National Trust’s beautiful Brockhampton Estate on the Worcestershire border embraces our cider heritage with traditional harvest events in October, and gets spooky for Halloween trick or treating you on a medieval trail into its ghostly past – great fun for the kids. Throwing some winter parties? Renowned butchers Legges of Bromyard provides so much more than excellent local meats. Stocking delicatessen products and their own range of pies and artisan foodie accompaniments, Legges is quite a gastro destination.
You’ll love their epicurean hampers, ideal for those hard-to-buy-for people, and now you can also visit their new shop at Aylestone Hill in Hereford too.
Bromyard’s town centre comes out in force to hail the beginning of the festive run in mid November, with the annual spectacle that is their Christmas lights.
Including a procession, shop window competition, street events and a visit from Santa, this is a family event full of good cheer, and ending in seasonal song from various premises for all to enjoy.
