                   •  Supports multiple services simultaneously
                   •  Efficient data transmission
                   •  Supports real-time communication
                   •  Provides Quality of Service (QoS)

                           8. Limitations of BISDN



               Despite its advantages, BISDN has some drawbacks:

                   •  High implementation cost
                   •  Complex infrastructure
                   •  Later replaced by newer technologies such as:
                          o  DSL
                          o  Cable internet
                          o  Fiber-optic broadband
                          o  IP-based networks

               2.11 Quality of Service (QoS)

                           to  manage  network  resources  and  guarantee  a  certain  level  of  performance  for
