he handed her his business card. Months later, Ashley
received an email from Robert's law firm, offering her a
job. She accepted and later discovered that Robert was
her great-uncle, whom she had never met before.
In 2011, musician John Mayer's prized guitar, a
1964 Martin D-28, was stolen from his hotel room in
New York City. Months later, a man named Robert
bought the guitar at a pawn shop in Nashville. As he
played it, he noticed a unique scratch on the neck.
Online research led him to John Mayer's website,
where he saw a photo of the stolen guitar with the
same scratch.
Robert returned the guitar to Mayer, who was
stunned by the unlikely recovery.
Consider the story of Steve Jobs, who dropped out
of college due to financial constraints. One day, while
wandering around campus, he stumbled upon a
calligraphy class. Intrigued, he attended, and the
beautiful typography sparked a fascination. Years later,
when designing the Macintosh computer, Jobs
incorporated those same calligraphic principles,
revolutionizing typography in the digital age.
