Summary: At 14:23 GMT on February 17th, a
live broadcast from New York experienced a global
signal collapse now referred to as The Echo.
The anomaly began with the spontaneous
muting of anchor Malia Grant’s microphone during
a live interview with Spiral Movement founder Kye
Lander. Within 4.7 seconds, silence propagated
through all known transmission channels: digital,
analog, and encrypted.
For twelve minutes, the planet was audibly still.
Monitors glowed, power grids held, but no
sound was transmitted. Even background
frequencies such as traffic, ventilation, and oceanic
static vanished.
