Success
Success is often portrayed as a step-by-step climb up a
carefully planned ladder. From our parents' dreams for
us to society’s expectations to work-life balance, we seem
increasingly obsessed with planning our lives down to
the minute. It's like we're trying to schedule happiness!
I'll feel fulfilled from 2 to 3 p.m. I'll feel happy from 3 to 4.
But life's not a ladder; it's a weird, wobbly staircase with
unexpected landings and surprise detours! Despite our
intentions to follow a structured path, unforeseen events,
chance encounters, and random collisions frequently
alter our course. We can spend hours organizing every
detail, mapping out our future step by step, and boom!
Life steps in and says, "Oh, you had plans?"
Life doesn’t care about your plans. Plans are fragile
because life is unpredictable. Life has a way of disrupting
even the best-laid plans because, while plans can help
