The light followed her as she moved, focusing on
different sections of the audience.
"The moment you stop pretending, you get your
power back," she said. "You start making choices
that are yours, not borrowed from someone else,
not performed, not expected."
The applause swelled again, louder this time.
She waited, breathing it in, then lifted a hand for
quiet.
"You can feel it when it happens," she said.
"Your shoulders drop. Your voice steadies. People
start responding to you, not your mask.
“That is the Divine Spark, truth and choice
meeting inside you. It’s not mystical. It’s utterly
human. It’s the feeling of being whole again."
The audience had stopped clapping now,
listening with a different kind of focus.
"So let’s try something, just for a moment," she
said. "Think of one place in your life where you
might still be pretending. Maybe it at work. Maybe
in a relationship. Maybe it’s that quiet, automatic 'I
am fine' when you are not.
”Now imagine what it would feel like to stop
pretending there. Not to fix everything. Not to
make a scene. Just to tell the truth, even if only to
yourself."
