GPS Ground Speed Sensor
The Garmin GPS Speed Sensor is modi ed to make the sensor convert the signal to a radar signal. The Garmin speed sensor is targeted to farmers needing a distance sensor that want to replace their tractor radar. It is a 12-parallel channel, WAAS-enabled GPS receiver. The Antenna comes with a Sensor-1 conversion board giving the farmer a true ground speed for his tractor. It converts the NMEA string to a radar pulse. It works with the DICKEY-john 3000, John Deere 250, Early Riser and Sensor-1 monitors, or any monitor that uses radar. It replaces the DICKEY-john and Phillips radar guns and Distance Press Wheel Sensor. We have 1 & 5 updates per second available.

Another Radar Bites the Dust!
The puck-like receiver measures only 2.4 inches in diameter and weighs just under one ounce. It is sealed to the environment, making it an ideal solution inside the tractor cab or for outside applications. It comes with a standard integrated magnetic base with optional panel and suction mount bases available (see right).
From tractor to tractor...just plug it in and go! This Garmin antenna can be quickly transferred from tractor to tractor—simply connect to the monitor/control equipment, perform the same set-up calibration that you would on your equipment pulse sensors, and you are ready to go!
