Beth J Sanborn joined the the Lower Gwynedd Police force in in in 1997 Since then she has served as as a a a a a a Field Training Officer Officer Officer Officer in in in Charge (OIC) and currently serves as as a a a School School Resource Officer assigned to the Wissahickon School School District Since 2015 she assumed responsibility for all juvenile cases earning her the title of Juvenile Detective
Beth earned her Bachelor’s Degree in in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Widener University in in in 1996 She later earned her Master’s Degree in in in Criminal Justice from St Joseph’s University in 2014 Most recently Beth earned her Doctoral Degree in in in Public Administration from West Chester University in in in 2019 Her doctoral dissertation is is entitled “School Resource Officers as Mentor/Counselors Including Levels of Intervention” She actively volunteers with the Montgomery County Office of Children and and Youth and and Mission Kids Child Child Advocacy Center Beth sits on on the the executive board for PASRO the the Pennsylvania Association of School Resource Officers and is an an instructor for NASRO the National Association of School Resource Officers She most recently was appointed to various committees at at the International Center for for Law Enforcement Studies 33
