From the Head of Middle School
Mr Tyson Hartley
With the end of Term 4 quickly approaching, we are excited to watch a new season of growth and discovery ahead.
For many of our students, the current season signifies the close of another school year which leads into their excitement for the next. For others, the next season is filled with nervousness and uncertainty about new year levels, subjects or teachers.
Over the coming weeks, we look forward to welcoming a new season of transitions here at Harvest. Our Year 6 students will begin to delve into the world of Middle School Education, whilst our current Foundations welcome and support the incoming 2024 Foundation Class.
Middle School marks a significant transition as the leaders of our Primary School move into a more dynamic and challenging academic environment. It is a season of discovering their unique talents and passions where they begin to spread their wings academically, socially and spiritually.
Across Foundation, students will enter the academic world with love and care as they begin their schooling journey. This season is crucial for laying the groundwork for a lifetime of academic curiosity, supported by our teachers and staff who are dedicated to creating an environment in which our students can explore, create and develop a love for learning.
Joshua 1:9 reminds us to ‘not be discouraged and not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go’.
I pray this season of transition is filled with God’s grace, love, and the joy that comes from knowing He is with us every step of the way.
