Solar Car Challenge
Over the last 3 weeks, the Year 9 Automotive students have been participating in a Solar Car Challenge. They have each had to build a solar powered “car” with a battery backup and test their results against each other. Some were much faster than others!
Year 8 Science
In Week 5, the Year 8 Science students experimented with a collection of items to learn about energy transfer. Having arranged their chosen items, they were asked to observe their interaction in order to determine what, if any, energy transfer occurred, and to write a report on their findings.
