Year 4/5 Star of the Sea
During Week 7, the Year 4/5R class visited the Star of the Sea Home for the Aged in Wallaroo. They were welcomed by the staff, who dressed for the occasion, before they played games with the residents. The students engaged with them and had a lot of fun. The staff said they and the residents are looking forward to when the students can visit again.
Year 3/4/5 Cultural Diversity
During Week 8, the 3/4R, 4/5H and 4/5R Health classes each participated in Cultural Diversity Class Parties, which were the culmination of the students investigating their cultural heritage. They enjoyed traditional games and food from the countries they discovered they were from.
