CHAPTER 19 - CONSUMER INTERESTS - THE 1990’S A PERIOD OF MASSIVE CHANGE
I consulted heavily with the banking sector, the ABA, the Financial Services Council, ICA, the financial planning industry bodies, individual insurers and government ministers. The matter was taken up by a succession of government inquiries following some disastrous failures in managed investment schemes and financial advice.
I participated in a number of government reviews including probably the most significant being the review conducted by Richard St John.
