We have a fully qualified Health Educator on board and a dynamic Health & Safety Education and Promotion Department dedicated to fulfilling that mission.

We operate in close liaison with Victorian Government WorkSafe, WorkHealth and NGOs (such as Safety Institute of Australia) to help further our mutual cause – the promotion of occupational health and safety in the workplace.

Our association with WorkSafe Victoria developed in conjunction with our involvement in the manufacturing, construction and material handling industries.
WorkSafe officers have contributed feature articles in our trade magazines (including leading guidance on forklift safety) and have evaluated products for us to make sure they complied
with quality assurance standards before we endorsed them in the marketplace as superior or worthwhile products.
WorkSafe has utilized our magazines in their library, on their website and throughout their networks via their workplace inspectors, who used them as a technical reference when they visited factories and business premises.
We have jointly undertaken projects in the crane-hoist sector and collaborated on such vital safety matters as bridge and gantry crane operation (which resulted in the Working Safely with Bridge and Gantry Cranes handbook) and on a proposed national Code of Practice for the Vehicle Hoist Association of Australia (VHAA).
