You may already be familiar with a rondo composed by Jean-Joseph Mouret (1682–1738), made famous as the theme music for Masterpiece Theatre (now Masterpiece), America’s longest-running prime-time drama series, on PBS (see Listening Cue). It is discussed in full in Chapter 5.
