    Removing an outline
To delete an outline from your worksheet, you click the drop-down button attached to the Ungroup button on the Data tab of the Ribbon and then choose the Clear Outline option from its drop-down menu (or you press Alt+AUC). Note that removing the outline does not affect the data in any
way — Excel merely removes the outline structure. Also note that it doesn’t matter what state the outline is in at the time you select this command. If the outline is partially or totally collapsed, deleting the outline automatically dis- plays all the hidden rows and columns in the data table or list.
