SUMMER 2021
                                                                      BELLA VISTA NEWS

                            Welcome

                            By Sharon Reiha

Christmas is almost here and our residents are all looking
forward to celebrating the holiday season with their loved
ones whether it be at the residence or in their family
homes. Our residents are currently enjoying the lifting of Jennifer enjoying a scenic bus trip
COVID restrictions with increased visiting, social visits and
scenic bus outings. The Leisure & Lifestyle Team are
getting into the Christmas spirit with the hanging of the
          Christmas decorations throughout the residence.

Over the year we have awarded staff with our monthly
Standing Ovation Award. It is great to see that the
residents and families continue to nominate staff. See page
          3 for the latest winners.

COVID‐19 Booster vaccinations were administered to Willy and Bill with their Melbourne Cup
eligible residents on 16 November and we will ensure all sweep prizes
other residents have their booster shots when due. Staff
will be encouraged to have booster vaccinations six
months after the completion of their initial vaccination
course. The booster vaccination is not mandatory at this
stage. I would like to take this opportunity to thank
everyone for the support that you have provided to the
Team at Bella Vista Gardens during such another trying
year. We look forward to a more promising 2022.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Be safe and enjoy the time spent with your loved ones. Lena having a laugh during Humour
