Autumn 2018
WILLIAM CAPE NEWS
Welcome
By Cathy Blomquist
Welcome to our Autumn Newsletter.
It is with pleasure I introduce to you a new, exciting “Autumn Series” Australian Reptile Park Visit
of outings to local events and attractions that we will be offering our
residents and families in the coming months. These monthly outings
are optional for residents at an additional cost. Places we will be
visiting in this series are Laycock Street Theatre, Ken Duncan Gallery
and Gosford Classic Car Museum. Numbers are limited for each event
and reservations can be made by contacting Reception. Family and
friends are welcome to join us pending numbers.
Before we know it, the cooler weather will be upon us which signals
the time of year again for Influenza vaccinations. As has been the case Betty Campbell and her daughter
in previous years Flu vaccines will be offered to our residents and staff
as recommended to prevent infection and related complications. It is
also timely to remind our friends & families if they are unwell with
cold or flu symptoms to delay visiting until feeling better to minimize
the chances of spreading infection.
We have received some mixed feedback recently regarding the quality
and taste of the meals served at William Cape Gardens. Our food
services team is working hard to improve our menus and meal service
in response to this feedback and we are seeking expert assistance
from our Group Executive Chef in this process. During February we Christmas with Santa Claus
introduced some new dishes to our menu and I hope you will all enjoy
tasting them.
Until next time with warm wishes.
With warm wishes
