Welcome

It’s been a very interesting last few months for us here at
Lansdowne Gardens since I commenced in mid‐September.
Thank you to you all for welcoming me here to be part of the
family. I have met most of you and for those I haven’t met I am
looking forward to meeting you all, please say "Hi", my door is The Lansdowne Lions Choir
always open. We have our Resident & Relative meetings bi‐
monthly and this is a good way to meet family members.
In November we had a visit from the Aged Care Quality & Safety
Commission at Manns Avenue for our Re‐Accreditation audit
which takes place every three years. Thank you all for your
overwhelming support during that period.
We have said goodbye to a few staff and welcomed a few in the
last two months. You have told me how amazing the staff are and
I have witnessed it. As Cranbrook Care we like to recognise our
staff and as such we give a Standing Ovation Award each month
to a staff member who has gone far and beyond in their role by Keff performing at Wycombe Road
providing unwavering support and care to our residences and has
lived the Cranbrook Care values. In October Leni our Registered
Nurse at Wycombe Road was the standing Ovation recipient. In
November Ashok our Personal Care Assistant at Manns Avenue
was given the award. Congratulations to these staff for their
devotion and
Remember your feedback is valued so let us know what we are
doing really well and what we need to do better. You can
complete a "My Thoughts" form which you will find at reception.
Once again thanking you all for welcoming me to the family.
With warm wishes, Bus Outing to Public Dining Room at Balmoral Beach
