Winter 2018

                                                                     BELLA VISTA NEWS

                            Welcome

                             By Janice McNair

         Hi Everyone,
                                                                           Grand Kids Day 2018
As we continue to grow it has been a pleasure meeting all the new
residents and families. It is great meeting our new residents, families
and friends and getting to know you all personally. We had an
unannounced visit from the Accreditation Agency at the end of
March which we passed very well.

The Flu season is quickly creeping up on us, so it is important that
everyone be immunised. We have the double dose vaccine in stock

and your GP will give these to you over the next few weeks. All staff Betty, Domenica and Ruth at Mother's
are offered the immunisation and we have already started giving Day
         these immunisations.

As the resident numbers increase we have been increasing the
staffing numbers as well. We have just inducted 15 new staff so
please make them welcome. It is with great sadness to announce the
resignation of Regine (Clinical Care Manger) and Angela (Lifestyle
Coordinator). We have made an offer to a selected person to replace
Angela and will be able to confirm this very soon. We are still
interviewing for Regine’s role and will announce the chosen
         candidate very soon.
Chuckles the Clown at Grand Kids Day

We have many events forecast for the coming few months including
a Winter Music festival and a visit to the Orchid Societies “Orchids
out West”. This is as well as our regular events including continuing
with our "Dance Tutor", many entertainers, our bus trips, card
making classes and lots of competitive games and fun. I encourage
residents and their families to join us.

         With warm wishes

Mary at the ANZAC Day Service
