ASSESSING THE SONIC LANDSCAPE
Sonically, Iris opens to the sound of multiple skateboards surfing sidewalks, curbs, benches, handrails & other elements of the Los Angeles Urban & Suburban landscape, each clickety clack of the skateboard takes our street kids to a place where the promise of life is better. Punk rock is the soundtrack to the skating teens’ world, while Iris listens to Classical and Opera. Both types of music come to head and combine in the final scene.
