An actor known for her ability to disappear into her roles, Síle Bermingham starred opposite screen legend Charlotte Rampling & American icon Willie Nelson in Indie Film Waiting for the Miracle to Come produced by Wim Wenders & Bono. Other film credits include A Kiss and a Promise directed by Philip Guzman where Sile played a grieving mother whose only child falls victim to a serial killer. Notable work in her other films include the dramatic heist thriller 2:22 with Val Kilmer & Gabriel Byrne & the Lionsgate award winning hit Played with a star studded cast including Val Kilmer, Gabriel Byrne, Vinnie Jones, Anthony LaPaglia, Joanne Whalley & Patsy Kensit.
Síle has performed on stages from Dublin & London to New York & Los Angeles in a variety of productions including The Ruffian on the Stair, Good Bobby (NY & LA) Doubt, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Loot, The Trial, The Hostage, Dracula, A Touch of the Poet, Remembrance, Hitler’s Head etc
A lover of stories & the spoken word Síle has narrated several audio books for authors: Maeve Binchy, Mark Tomkins, Siobhan Dowd, Andrea Cremer, Joanne Harris, Marian Keyes, Cecelia Ahern and many others etc
Síle is the author of several screen plays including IRIS and is thrilled to be part of the team that is bringing Iris to the big screen. She currently resides in Los Angeles & is repped by Sovereign Talent Group.
