 With the formation of the Schaeffler Group in 2002, the former corporate brands INA, LuK and FAG have been integrated under the Schaeffler brand as product brands (regional usage for the moment excluded). Today, they are recognized for their long her- itage of innovation, quality, and excellence across global mar- kets. At their very core, each product brand represents a specific expertise within our portfolio that contributes to our Schaeffler purpose: “We pioneer motion to advance how the world moves.”
• INA (Industrienadellager), one of our founding brands that marks the beginning of our pioneering journey: The Schaeffler expert for engine repair and needle bearings
• LuK (Lamellen und Kupplungsbau), co-founded by the Scha- effler brothers in 1965: The Schaeffler original transmission expert
• FAG (Fischer’s Automatische Gussstahlfabrik), acquired in 2001 to strengthen our bearing expertise for industrial motion and mobility: The Schaeffler expert in bearing components & chassis solutions for sustainable motion
Additionally, to these, we create no other product brands, as we strive for simplicity and clarity in our brand landscape, streng- thening our one Schaeffler masterbrand.
