This itinerary was created for an experience of greater immersion and knowledge of the mysteries and natural wonders of the Rio Negro, as well as the Anavilhanas Archipelago region and Apuaú River. Explore natural attractions, many of them untouched, getting to know riverside communities and local indigenous peoples, enjoy the immensity of the forest, the meeting Amazon and Rio Negro’s waters and isolated beaches of rare beauty. Take classes on jungle survival and explore with an expert guide trails and igarapés learning details of the Amazonian fauna and flora.
Day 1: Manaus
On arrival in Manaus you’ll be met by our representative for a historic tour of the city. Explore the city of Manaus with a dedicated guide on this private tour. Learn about the rubber boom in Brazil and its effects on the history and culture of the city through engaging commentary f rom your guide. Visit the Negro River Palace, the Manaus Opera House, a transformed park, and the City of Manaus Museum. Peruse
the Adolpho Lisboa market, where rows of vendors sell f resh Amazonian fish, local produce, and traditional handicrafts. After the tour you’ll be dropped at your hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Manaus (Boarding)
At 08:00 a representative of the Untamed Amazon Cruise will meet you at your hotel reception for transfer to the Pier to check-in at 8:30 am on the boat for passenger accommoda- tion, welcome drinks and snacks on board.
