Providing Fascinating Travel Experiences
Why travel to Nepal?
 Kathmandu
Kathmandu gives the impression of being both modern and frozen in another era. There are outdoor gear shops all over the streets as some neighborhoods seem close to crumbling under the weight of years. Thamel, the favorite district of travelers, is full of restaurants, travel agencies and shops of all kinds. A real labyrinth where it is good to get lost! Temples abound and are all fun to explore. Especially those in Durbar Square where, in addition, you can come across self-proclaimed tour guides, a living goddess and several colorful Sadhus.
Kathmandu Valley
If you are wondering what to do in Nepal around Kathmandu, know that the Kathmandu Valley, located a few kilometers from the capital, is full of cities and temples that will blow your mind. The largest Stupa in the world is in Bodnath and it is impossible to tire of exploring the temples and alleys of Bhaktapur. The Pashumatinah temple and its crematorium ghats will give you a bit of culture shock.
Pokhara
Pokhara is the starting point for all those who will embark on the Annapurna circuit and other trails in the area. Whether you are going for a hike or not, Pokhara is worth a little detour. Its lake surrounded by mountains and populated by multicolored boats will amaze you and you'll enjoy sipping tea while marveling at this landscape. A short boat ride takes you to a path that overlooks the Temple of Peace and this is not to be missed on your trip to Nepal.
A taste of momo
In Nepal, momo is very popular and you'll quickly understand why. It's a small steamed ravioli and it's usually stuffed with meat or vegetables, but some places even serve a sweet version: the momo dessert. You can find it in restaurants large and small in just about every town and village.
Chitwan National Park
If there is one thing you may not expect to do when planning to visit Nepal, it's a safari! Chitwan National Park is home to several species including the famous Indian rhino that many are lucky enough to see during safaris. In the village there is a river near which you'll be able to spot some crocodiles and other rather impressive specimens.
