to the Cathedral of Redemption which commemorates the murder of the Tsar and his family and the monastery built where the bodies were found. Day 12: Kazan
In the morning, you reach Kazan, the capital of the Tatars, located on the banks of the Volga. During a city tour, you will discover the old town and the Kremlin (a generic Russian term for a fortress seat of power). Then you attend a folklore show called "Tugan Avalim" ("the native village") which tells of a Tatar epic. Lunch allows you to discover regional cuisine. Continuation of the train journey in the evening. [B/L/D]
Day 13: Moscow
You reach Moscow at the end of the morning and you leave your train "Imperial Russia". During the city tour of Moscow, you discover its Kremlin, you enter what is called the "territory" of the Kremlin, seat of power in Russia for
centuries and visit some of the sumptu- ous cathedrals it shelters. Walk along the famous Arbat Street, visit the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and several impressive metro stations. Installation at the hotel. Dinner at the restaurant and night at the hotel. [B/L/D]
Day 14: Moscow
After breakfast you may have some time to relax. At the appointed time you’ll be met and transferred to
Moscow airport to board your con- necting flight back home. Lunch included, depending on your depar- ture time. [B/L]
