Providing Fascinating Travel Experiences
Why travel to West Africa?
Discover a continent outside the tourist routes
Africa is often off the busiest tourist routes. Africa is not just Egypt and its pyramids or Morocco and its golf courses. It's not just safaris in Kenya or South Africa. They are also countries that are much less touristy but so endearing, like Senegal for example or Mali. It is also the African art of living, for example in West Africa where people wear very colorful clothes, often smile, are very warm and happy to live despite their problems. Africa is also resourcefulness around every corner. On the heritage side, Africa is generously endowed with whatever may be said. Even if we have in mind, the image of the pyramids, it is a bit reductive in vision. Each country is home to centers of archaeological and cultural interest
Get rid of your prejudices
If there is one continent that suffers from a very bad image, it is undoubtedly Africa. The list of evils is endless: drought, famine, wars, etc. But if this was more than true 50 years ago, things are starting to change for the better. Although many conflicts remain, more and more countries are beginning to move towards lasting peace with democ- racy. The first contact with Africa is often a moment that is remem- bered throughout your life.Culture shock is guaranteed and it's a great opportunity to see that money doesn't always buy happiness and that life is also made up of simple pleasures.
Unequaled ethnic wealth
Globalization has not yet reached many African countries and a great many people have kept their customs and rituals. The diversity of the tribes is immense, ranging from the nomadic Peul people to the Bongo, Bobo, Fula, Bassari, Dogon or Tuareg among others.
A changing economic reality
Economic growth is pulling Africa upwards and the continent is chang- ing at top speed. Most countries are growing at least 5%, a figure that would make America dream.
It is probable that in the next decade, the continent will have little to do with the current situation and it is probably a "world" which will disap- pear with the onset of globalization: standardization of cultures, disap- pearance of languages, etc.
