Footprints in the Sand
Dawn has become morning. The desert is awake and the sun’s rays are heating the cold sand. With heavy, determined steps, the area’s dominant male lion steers towards the local watering hole. Like quicksand, the sand slowly disappears under his big paws and each step looks more and more strenuous. Only footprints in the sand are left after he disappears behind dense bushes.
