About the Author Janet Treanor











































































                Married with 2 children; a girl and a boy.


                Widely exhibited Artist and sculptor.


                I have illustrated magazine articles and 3 educational text books.


                I’m also a qualified Adult Education teacher.





                But really I’m a tree hugging, bird watching nature lover!

                My favourite thing to do is walking in my local wood in spring time, with its carpet of bluebells, trying to
             spot deer and different creatures. Then in autumn, kicking the fallen leaves and looking for fungus.


                Also, as I love history, visiting old houses and gardens, as it also reminds me of my childhood growing up at
             Brook House, in Kent. Which The Divided Talisman series is based on.





                Hobbies:


                Painting and sculpting.

                Watching the birds, squirrels and foxes in my garden.


                 Reading.

                I love reading children’s book, classic and contemporary ones. YA, and most genres of adult books.

                I especially like   page turning thrillers. Fantasy, from Lord of the Ring’s, to all of the Terry Pratchett Disc

             World series, and anything with a sprinkling of mystery and magic.





               TV.

                  Dr Who, which I have been watching since I was 5 years old, and I’m still a massive fan.

                Also, a massive fan of Strictly!


                Autumn/ Spring Watch etc


                David Attenborough documentaries.

                Treats.

                Chocolate twirls, carrot cake and custard creams!
