Regulatory Traffic Signs
Road traf c signs must conform to The Traf c Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002. The signs on this page fully conform to this legislation.
The re ective material used on these signs fully conforms to BS EN 12899-1:2007, which has replaced BS 873 parts 5 and 6.These are supplied in 3mm Aluminium composite with channel for xing.This material has little scrap value and therefore acts as a theft deterrent.
Re ectivity may be reduced in old signs - make sure your signs are maintained and replace where necessary.
Protective Overlay Film can be overlaminated on any traf c sign for extra sign face protection. CE certi cation is required for use on public highways. For private land CE certi ed signs are not required.
