P. 28
9. Which part of your past work or identity are you ready to leave behind - and what’s ready
to be rewritten or reframed?
10. If someone Googled you, or asked “What do you do?” - what would you want them to
find or hear?
You don’t need polished answers. Just raw ingredients
Now, take a first shot at your story:
→ What must go into your story – the non-negotiables?
→ Try writing or saying a 60–90 second version of your “Hello World, this is me” narrative.
Practice saying it out loud. What feels right and what doesn’t?
→ Don’t worry about perfect wording - this is your starting point to work with Chatty.
→ Bring clarity, soul, and signal. This is the bridge between your past and future.
Bonus: If you struggle with a short piece - try writing a half page mini bio in the voice of someone
who truly believes in you. What would they say about your talents and trajectory?
CONTEXT = FUEL
Start by sharing what you’ve already been thinking about - based on the Human Prompt.
That’s what’s front of mind, and it’s the most important thing for Chatty to hear first.
You might want to share:
· Your full answers to the Human Prompt above
· Career highlights, turning points, or pivots
· Any language or stories you’ve used in the past that no longer fit
· How you’ve changed in the past 3–5 years
· How you’d like your story to land - in a job search, a portfolio, a podcast bio
· Anything you’re struggling to say clearly (or confidently)
· Any feedback you’ve had - good or confusing - about how you present yourself
Plus: If you have them - attach files with your Bio, Resume and/ or links to your Social Profiles so
that your Chatty can see how you currently ‘Tell your story’.
This input is radically useful for Chatty.
It helps your Chatty act like a skilled coach - and help you craft a story that is clear, credible, and
human.
TORCH NOT SPOTLIGHT
You don’t need to impress. You need to connect. This is not about puffed-up profiles or fake
confidence. It’s about finding the language that feels like you - and positions you for what’s next.
You are so much more than your job title. And your story deserves to be told with clarity, energy
and care. This is about telling your story with warmth - so people understand what you bring
and where you’re going.
