If there was ever a time when the world has been more unsure about what the future has to offer, it is now. Finances, travel, businesses, school and education: the list is endless, with no clear “end” in sight for anyone. Companies and organisations have had to change the way they do business, recalibrating to the “new normal,” which has left many confused, distressed and quite worried.
This shake-up has seen many people look for more secure and steadfast forms of investment, whilst at the same time, looking for more ways to diversify their income earning potential; either as individuals, or as organisations. Money markets have become less and less stable, and increasingly more unpredictable, which leaves a lot of people who rely on the banking system rather vulnerable. What makes it worse, not everyone is financially knowledgeable of how the system works and how it means, at the end of the day, they are fighting a battle they will not succeed in winning so easily, if they do not make some changes.
There is an urgency in the air, and if you miss it, you might sit and regret why you didn’t jump onto the opportunity. You see, as I’ve already stated, the world will never get back to “normal,” if we even know what that was. Your income might have taken a knock, and in some instances, your income might have been lost through retrenchment and other COVID related repercussions. Many people have lost their houses from failing to make payments, or have had to park their cars, because they can’t afford the insurance, which means, less money spent on fuel and servicing on vehicles nation/worldwide, which in turn also means little revenue to support staff who work in these fields, leading to retrenchments etc. It’s a snowball effect that leaves many people lost and swallowed up by the everyday world.
