Solving System of Linear Equations and Quadratic Equations
A system comprised of a linear equation and a quadratic equation in two variables is called a quadratic system.
When a graph comprised of one linear and one quadratic equation in two variables, the system has 0, 1, or 2 solutions.
When a graph is comprised of two quadratic equations, the system has 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 solutions.
