    If f(x) = 𝑥+|𝑥|, find the value of f(–3) |𝑥|
 Solution:
Put x = –3 in 𝑥+|𝑥| |𝑥|
As x < 0, f(x) = |x| would be –x
  = –3+|–3| |–3|
 = –3−3 = 2 –3
