she’d still have pieces of her grandmother with her, as well as all the memories they shared during her sixteen years on earth. She would always remember, she could never forget her grandmother.
With the gifts that the wind and the river bestowed upon her, she knew she could move on, if she truly believed in herself.
“I am ready to face the future,” Beeatrisa said firmly.
“Never forget what the forest taught you, Beeatrisa. Never forget where you came from, and the woman who made you who you are,” the pine reminded her. “May you grow as tall as I am.”
The pines separated, allowing her to move past their verdant gates. Beeatrisa took the gifts the forest awarded her and the memory of her adored grandmother with her, as she would always remember the lessons that the forest taught her. Her dreams were bright, she was finally ready.
Beeatrisa then started to advance toward the shining kingdom.
