memories of Rafe’s life were as true in his mind as they would be in the years to come so set about writing a book about the Rafe that was, and could always be. In some ways this was yet another gift that Rafe gave to the world.
The book was created with his friend Jim to pass on to his friends and loved ones (and gosh there were so many and so much love).
Over the year of lockdown Charlie realised that Rafe’s story, and his gift, needed to be seen by those that didn’t know him and so he and Jim set to work getting it ready for the world.
Autumn Bear Books is the very soul of Rafe and is many things. It is a passing on point, it is a testament. But it is also an understanding that memories are both truest and purest when they invite you into an adventure.
Rafe’s adventure has many chapters and you will get to read more of them as the years go by. Whether that is in these books or when you speak to someone who knew him.
