Hidden under the former battlefields of World War I lie hundreds of rock quarries, transformed into underground cities by armies on both sides. These remarkable underground cities are treasure troves of artefacts, sculptures and emotionally charged graffiti created by WWI soldiers a century ago. American medical doctor, photographer and explorer Jeffery Gusky explores the hidden world, and meets the volunteers working to preserve these underground cities.
