Breaker Morant: The Retrial
2 x 60’ or 1 x 120’, 2013, HD
This documentary tells the story of the greatest military controversy in Australian history — the trial and execution of Harry ‘The Breaker’ Morant. 110 years after he was executed by the British during the Boer war, this film reconsiders the Breaker Morant case, through cross-examinations of historians and legal experts, and the presentation of evidence that suggests betrayal and subterfuge at the centre of the trial.

The Battle for Goose Green was one of the most well-documented events of the Falklands War between British and Argentinian forces in 1982. Outnumbered British troops experienced fierce fighting with Argentine forces during the 40-hour battle, during which 17 British troops and 47 Argentine soldiers lost their lives. Now three British soldiers return to the Falklands to retrace that battle.
