First off, we would like to thank our sponsors and the community for supporting us throughout these last 2 years, it has been the most difficult time for us not being able to produce the event that we have all grown to love and produce for you. We are very happy to be back after our forced break and we look forward to entertaining you again.
On behalf of myself and the entire Stampede Board and Jr. Board we would like to Welcome rodeo fans to the 24th Annual Santiam Canyon Stampede, presented by Freres Wood. I would personally like to thank our many outstanding sponsors; who without their continued support we would not be able to put on such a great event! We tip our Cowboy hats to you!!
The Santiam Canyon Stampede Rodeo week starts Thursday with our Sponsor kick-off night, followed by two nights of jaw dropping, action packed NPRA rodeo fun. You won’t want to miss the “Kids Corral” especially on Friday night. Thanks to Pape Machinery & Dutch Bros. all the fun in the Corral is Free Friday night! Also don’t miss the up and coming cowboys and cowgirls trying their luck at Mutton Busting! Don’t blink or you might miss the fastest time as you watch the Jr. Barrel racers compete!
I understand the importance of continuing this tradition and that’s why I got involved over 18 years ago; starting out first as a volunteer, then a board member, and now as returning President. The Santiam Canyon Stampede has a loyal and hardworking team of volunteers working side by side to bring you and action packed, dirt stomping weekend of good time. The Stampede Board of Directors, JR. Board, and many volunteers, are committed to being a part of this organization, which helps make positive changes in our community!
I would like to personally thank my family, and all of the families of our Board of Directors, Jr. Board and volunteers, for allowing them to commit the many hours away to help put on the Stampede Rodeo.
