Still on the disciples that followed Jesus ...
Though they gave up their vocations to follow the Master, they did not neglect their respective gifts. In addition, they committed themselves to reading and doctrine, which explains why they were able to quote scriptures after Jesus had left. Finally, they gave themselves wholly to their pursuit of their Master's conduct & style, while also taking heed to themselves.
