 Chapter 4 Nevertheless, Not As I Will Prayers that hit the ‘bullseye’ must be those that seek the Aenforcement of the will of God at all times in our hearts. time came when Jesus took His disciples to the Mount of Olives to pray. It was perhaps the toughest time in His entire journey on the earth. His heart was extremely sorrowful and He felt like he was going to die from it. That deep sorrowful feeling of the heart was the prompting of the Holy Spirit to Him that the journey to the Cross of Calvary was around the corner. Jesus understood what the journey would entail. He knew how much suffering and humiliation he was about to be exposed to and he was not sure that He had sufficient inner strength to take it. He turned to the instrument of prayer to secure the help of His Father so that He could complete that last but vital segment of His journey. It was crucial that the journey be completed successfully.
