   KNOW BEFORE YOUGO
Salem Haunted Happenings offers the ultimate Halloween experience. And with so much going on throughout the month, we have the tips you need to make the most of your visit.
SALEM IS A WALKABLE CITY. Most of the Haunted Happenings festivities will take place downtown within about a 20-minute walk between the furthest points of interest. Remember to pack comfortable shoes!
DRESS FOR THE WEATHER. New England weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend wearing layers.
IF YOUR MUST-DO’S ARE TAKING RESERVATIONS, MAKE THEM! Many of Salem’s attractions, tours, live performances, and psychic readings accept reservations (and some require them), while most restaurants are first come, first served.
RESPECT SALEM’S LOCALS. Avoid parking in “Resident Only” areas, littering, and vandalism, as Salem’s residents share their city for the month, and triple fines are in effect during October.
THE LATEST UPDATES CAN BE FOUND ON HAUNTEDHAPPENINGS.ORG AND IN THE SALEM APP. Pack a portable charger for your phone and stay in the know on the go.
Happy Haunted Happenings!
DO: Use the Post Office as a pick-up/drop-off point for Uber/Lyft.
DON’T: Set your rideshare destination without confirming road closures.
