For 85 years the United States
Western District Court of
Washington was located in the
Post Office building on A Street.
The move to the renovated Union
Station occurred in 1992.
This photograph is of the courtroom
where on February 12, 1974, Judge
George Boldt reaffirmed the rights
of Washington's Indian tribes to fish
in accustomed places.
