DO make room in your luggage for
souvenirs. I love shopping for unique,
locally made products when I travel.
On this trip I picked up Manuka honey,
handmade wool gloves, a linen blazer from a New Zealand- based designer (at an end of the season sale!), and several
art prints from Kiwi artists. Unfortunately, my cat still hasn’t decided if she likes the small sheepskin rug I brought home for her.
I absolutely recommend a trip to New Zealand. Whatever kind of adventure you might be interested in, New Zealand has it. The only reason I would not say my trip to New Zealand was a ‘Bucket List’ experience is because I hope to return for another visit.
