I chose not to include a Judge category. But to avoid a contempt citation, I’ll note some possible nominations: Spencer Tracy (see note 5), Robert Duvall, Louis Calhern (as Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.), and perhaps Sylvester Stallone (for Judge Dredd).
Of the 28 Acting nominations, only five
are women in roles as lawyers. Television seems to do a better job portraying the legal profession as it exists today.
Only two of the movies I’ve mentioned deal with Law School and while both feature

some traumatic classroom scenes, they don’t deal with what I always viewed as the most fascinating subject. So, we have our final nomination:

You can disagree with any or all of my suggestions. I do have a warning for you, if you start to research these (or any) movies on the Internet be prepared to meet a hookah smoking caterpillar, because you will wind up going down the rabbit hole.11
