Happy August! - Our Bar Convention is just around the corner!
The Bar’s next ‘big’ event is almost here and it’s what we’re all talking
about – the 29th Annual Bar Convention at the beautiful Skamania Lodge.
You see it on the cover of this magazine and there are details about the
‘Wizard of Oz’ weekend event, provided by Catherine Case, Event Chair and
Judge Anneke Berry on pages 11 and 13. Don’t miss your chance to get out
of town and have fun. Bring the family, pets and $5 bills for the outstanding
raffle. Watch those deadlines and don’t be late on signing up because you
will not want to miss this weekend. Book your room with the Lodge by
September 5. Call the Lodge directly at 844-432-4748 or register online
at www.skamania.com, and use group ID: Tacoma-Pierce County Bar.

Sponsors are needed for our Bar Convention. Thank you to all firms and
individuals who have sponsored an activity, supported the President’s Council
or signed up to be an exhibitor. Your generosity will be recognized on our
website, in the Pierce County Lawyer Magazine, during the Convention
weekend, of course, and more. We still need sponsors for the Saturday dinner
– in any amount. Why sponsor? Because without your help, the annual Bar
Convention would not happen. It takes generous sponsors and support to
make this weekend event a success and make it affordable to the membership.

Interested in writing an article for the PC Lawyer magazine? Our
hard-working committee members would like to hear from you if you have
an article to share with our membership. The September/October fall issue
