While I may prefer a MOM-archy at
home, as your President, I strive to
foster an inclusive and collaborative
environment where everyone has a
voice. Your ideas, critiques and even the
smallest suggestions matter. How can
we make your bar membership more
inclusive, valuable, and engaging? Your
input is essential.
I also want to highlight the exciting
opportunities for us to connect and
grow together. We hold monthly board
meetings on the third Tuesday of each
month at 7:30 a.m., and I encourage you
to attend or share your insights with us.
Additionally, we are actively working on
maintaining an updated Facebook page
where members can share events and
support one another.
Mark your calendars for our Annual Bar
Convention which will take place on
October 10th–12th in scenic Skamania.
This year’s theme is The Wizard of
Oz—embracing all its versions, from
The Wiz to Wicked, books, plays, songs,
and beyond. Expect an event filled with
creativity, inspiration, and maybe even a
yellow brick road or two!
TPCBA has a variety of committees
and sections, including Family Law,
Criminal Law, Guardianship, New
& Young Lawyers, Bar Convention
Planning, and TPCBA Magazine,
among others. We have space for your
strengths, whether they lie in creativity,
attention to detail, legal expertise,
rulemaking, advocacy, volunteer work
or implementation. There is a place for
you to contribute and thrive.
