SUMMER TPCBA GOLF TOURNAMENT REPORT

WINNERS:

The Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association held two golf tournaments this summer. Both were wildly successful.
First was the scramble tournament held on July 16, 2024, at the Highlands Golf Course. This was a nine- hole tournament with 56 players enjoying a beautiful afternoon. The nine sponsors who attended also enjoyed a great afternoon and lively interaction with the players. We want to thank those sponsors who are as follows:

James Lynch, Gordon Hauschild, Jerome Song and Tom Creekpaum were the winning team (pictured above). Participants also enjoyed a taco bar buffet and a putting contest. Look for a return of this event next summer.
TPCBA’s annual trophy tournament was held July 23, 2024, at The Home Course and 23 players participated. The Edgar Eisenhower Trophy, for the low golfer, was earned by Greg Greer with a 77. Women’s champion was Susan Caulkins and other women winners were Brooke Burbank and Beth Jensen. Low net of the field was Michael Clark. Senior gross champion was Andrew Hay and senior net champion
was Curtis Huff. The Super Senior gross champion
was yours truly, Michael B. Smith, and the Super Senior net champion was John Ladenburg, Sr. The Home Course was an excellent choice for this tournament and everyone had a great afternoon. Look for this tournament to return next summer at The Home Course.
