2018 Pierce County
Law Firm Campaign
Outside of your own individual contributions, another opportunity to provide essential nancial support to the program this year is the 2018 Pierce County Law Firm Campaign – if your rm has not already been contacted about participation in the Campaign and receiving the recognition which comes with your pledge of support, please do not hesitate to e-mail vls@tacomaprobono.org for more information.
THANK YOU to everyone who attended Beer & Justice on July 18! In addition to our great speakers, including Judge Whitener who braved the blazing early evening sun to inspire us to take action, we also collectively contributed more than $7,000 which comes directly back to our program to help pay basic monthly business expenses like rent, salaries and bene ts, without which we could not keep providing high quality
legal services to the most vulnerable people in our community.
SPECIAL THANKS to the
Young Lawyers Section for making TACOMAPROBONO a bene ciary of ra e money raised at Casino Night on August 3 and to the TPCBA for including a special table for TACOMAPROBONO material at Lawyerpalooza on August 4!
Can’t volunteer your legal services but want to work with TACOMAPROBONO?
We need committee members for
the TPCBA TACOMAPROBONO Committee and the Bar Foundation Board. e Committee is a subcommittee of the TPCBA Board of Trustees and the TPCBF board manages a 501(c)(3) dedicated to funding TACOMAPROBONO. Interested? E-mail vls@tacomaprobono.org to learn more. ese groups are active and fun to work with.

ATTENTION, FAMILY LAW ATTORNEYS!
How do you divide a divorcing couple’s money? Do you look forward to calculating the present value of retirement plans? Does analyzing the interpolated terminal reserve of a life-insurance policy quicken your pulse?
Of course not. Otherwise, you’d be a nancial planner. Not an attorney. But you need a nancial planner. That would be me.
Why me? Is it because I’m a Certi ed Financial Planner practitioner? Is it because I have three master's degrees? Is it because I have a bunch of letters after my name? Is it because I completed over 40 hours of mediation training?
That’s all well and good, but what’s just as important:
I won’t say something stupid to embarrass you.
Let’s face it; referring a client to someone is risky. Your reputation is on the line. I won’t disappoint you OR your client. You see, I’ve been successfully helping clients for over 20 years.*
Whether your divorce case is collaborative or not-so- collaborative, call me. I specialize in equitable asset distribution.
All securities through Money Concepts Capital Corp. Member FINRA/SIPC. CK Financial Services is not a liated with Money Concepts Capital Corp
*Of course, because I’m securities-licensed, I must add that past performance is not a guarantee of future results...
