           Team,
I’m going to base this around the Chap Football game day expectations. This 2019 State Championship Team will always benefit from each other.
Kill the Will of our opponent: You all bought into the plan to win. Your combined toughness was evident throughout our season.
Full Speed for 7 seconds: Your tremendous physical play and your relentless detail to hustle and effort was infectious. Always remember playing for the approval of your teammates.
Stress the kicking game: Take care of every phase of winning. This team was so consistent in doing the little things right.
Dream the Beautiful Dream: Well men, we were all very specific in our visualization and it helped us all get the results that we all dream about- -a State Championship.
Be result oriented: This entire team was the best I’ve ever been around. It started out by not sending someone else to represent you with our coaching staff. You trusted us and came to talk to the head coach or an Asst. like a man. I always told y’all that you were the men in the arena and the ones that counted. You the players put us in the same company as the 1996 team after 23 long years. Because bottom line--you got it done.
Stay True: What a great feeling to look around a locker room and know that no one on the team will ever quit. Have your brothers back every off-season workout and in every game.
What you do is So Loud: We were a class team. We acted like we had scored a TD or had a big hit. I’m so proud of you for Respecting Everyone but Fearing No One.
Encourage your teammates: What an unbelievable brotherhood we had. There was a true Love for each other on this team.
This 2019 season was everything that I ever wanted when my staff and I got here 6 years ago.
Seniors I will end this by reminding you of how special you all are to me. You were our first full cycle thru Chap Football, and we culminated that 6-year window with a State Championship.
I love you all. TD
GO CHAPS!!
